The number of passengers at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport increased by 8 percent in September while the 9 month figure reached 23.4 million.
According to the statement made by the airport, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport hosted 2 million 945 thousand 484 passengers in September.
8 PERCENT INCREASE
Passenger growth in September was 8 percent compared to last year. In January-September this year, the total number of passengers was 23 million 442 thousand 348. The rate of increase in passengers in the said period increased by 4 percent compared to 9 months of last year.
While the number of passengers was 2 million 729 thousand 993 in September last year, the total number of passengers in 9 months was 22 million 540 thousand 622. On the other hand, the number of international passengers was 7.8 million in 9 months of the year, and the increase rate was 7 percent. Domestic passenger number was realized as 15.6 million in the same period. Domestic passenger growth rate was 3 percent compared to the same period last year.
PASSENGER DENSITY CONTINUED DURING SEPTEMBER
